Pistol Fundamentals – Class Description
This course focuses on the essential fundamentals of handgun marksmanship. Students will learn proper stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger press to achieve consistent, accurate fire.
Training begins with group discussion and guided practice via dry-fire. Each student receives individual coaching on the basics before moving to the live-fire range.

5-Step Draw Method
How to read your target and diagnose errors
Practical Skills
Handgun shooting fundamentals (stance, grip, sights, trigger)
Effective use in weapon manipulations and dry practice
Consistent, accurate single shots on the range
Class Duration
2 hour group intro and dry fire
2 hours live-fire range time
Total course time: 4 hours

Handgun (semi-auto or revolver pistol)
OWB Holster
Eye and ear protection
1 properly functioning magazine
150 rounds of range-approved ammunition
